Our School

TEFLworld school is situated near Chaweng Noi beach on the east coast of the beautiful Thai island of Koh Samui, an unspoilt tropical resort in the safe Gulf of Thailand.

Located in the midst of a coconut plantation, the environment around our school is very quiet; yet all of the island's major attractions are very close by.

TEFLworld school building is on the grounds of an established, purpose-built, international private school which is fully accredited by the Ministry of Education. The grounds are very clean, well kept and a light breeze provides an excellent environment for anyone taking our courses.

Accommodation

We provide you with very high level of comfort and stylish accommodation free of charge at our partner hotel.

For the duration of the course you can enjoy the following amenities at the resort. Additional nights are charged at the normal published full room rates. If you would like to stay on at the accommodation for a further month please ask us for the reduced monthly rate.

Teaching Practice

As well as TEFL course content, future employers also check to see that you have completed your teaching practice hours. It is necessary that you have taught a minimum of 6 hours of observed teaching practice and have been given constructive feedback on your performance together with comments on your own lesson reflection. In addition to these hours we offer you the option of teaching a further 6 hours. The choice is yours! This is done in addition to the standard course period and there is no extra fee. You will also observe other trainee teachers as often as possible.

Who are the students?

We provide you with the opportunity to teach as many different levels as possible. You will teach children and adults. Therefore your qualification will show employers that you are qualified to teach children as well as adults.
