As well as TEFL course content, future employers also check to see that you have completed your teaching practice hours. It is necessary that you have taught a minimum of 6 hours of observed teaching practice and have been given constructive feedback on your performance together with comments on your own lesson reflection. In addition to these hours we offer you the option of teaching a further 6 hours. The choice is yours! This is done in addition to the standard course period and there is no extra fee. You will also observe other trainee teachers as often as possible.

You will be guided through the process of planning, preparation, implementation and reflection of each lesson, and therefore,

At the end of the course you will be able to:- plan effective lessons for the language level of your class- apply the theory of language learning to your lesson preparations- implement current teaching methodologies into your classroom- successfully manage an EFL class- have fun with your students

Who are the students?

We provide you with the opportunity to teach as many different levels as possible. You will teach children and adults. Therefore your qualification will show employers that you are qualified to teach children as well as adults.

Assessment

Students are assessed continually throughout the course.

Each student will teach a total of at least 6 hours of classes in order to meet international standard course requirements. The student must satisfy the trainer that he/she has reached a satisfactory and competent level of teaching proficiency to graduate.

Course Schedule

The course runs from Mondays to Fridays. Evenings are free as are the weekends. Some independent study during the evenings/weekends is required so that students may complete assignments and prepare for the next day's sessions. We do realize that most of our trainees will want to sample the many delights Thailand has to offer, therefore there are no classes on weekends.
